In the presence of the entire assembly.
As, in accordance with the aforementioned resolution of September 19th, on the following day, various mortgaged goods were sold before the commissioners, but some pieces of cloth, each measuring 30 yards and containing 190 yards of silver, were so spoiled that they had to remain unsold. Therefore, in order to preserve the property from such contaminated goods and, at the same time, to use it to the greatest advantage of the Dutch Company, it was deliberated and decided to distribute the aforementioned pieces of cloth and silver to the Dutch Company's slaves in the clergy's lodgings, provided that: 5 or 6 incapacitated convicts brought to the hospital for the sick.95
Thus arrested and confined in the Castle of Good Hope on the date as above.

Alsoo ingevolge de bovenstaande resolutie van den 19 September voors. op eten 26 do. daaraanvolgende diversse gemotteerde goederen ten overstaan van gecommitteerdens waren verkoght, maer dat eenige lappen lakenen tot 30 ellen met 190 ellen sargie soodanigh bedorver waren dat onverkoght mosten blijven, Soo is (om het pachuijs van soodanigh geinfecteert goet te suijveren en niet te min om ‘t selve ten meeste voordeel van de E. Compagnie te gebruijcken) gedelibereert ende beslooten de voors. lappen lakenen en sargie aan des E.Comps. slaven in de logie tot cle[r]agie uijt de deelen, mitsgs. 5 a 6 bedorvene combaarssen tot decksel van de siecken in ‘t hospitael t’ doen brengen.95
Aldus gearresteert ende besloten in ‘t Casteel de Goede Hoop op dato als boven.
