In the presence of all members except Mr. Ludoviq van der Stel and Mr. J. H. Blum.
The meeting having considered the matter, the High Government of India, in its subsequent letter of December 10th, has kindly ordered that the small inland yacht Schaapharder, anchored here at the quay, which landed here the day before yesterday from Batavia with the said letter, be thoroughly inspected by a commissioned naval officer and to ascertain how it fared during the voyage. It has been unanimously decided, in accordance with the aforementioned order, that as soon as weather and wind permit, the small yacht Schaapharder, as mentioned, will be sailed by competent persons for the purpose of the aforementioned. to inspect it meticulously from top to bottom, inside and out, and on all sides, and to inquire of the officers and sailors aboard, both officers and sailors, how the ship's bottom held up during the voyage, and whether they found any deficiencies or other defects, in order to provide a proper report to the Honorable High Command at the earliest opportunity.
Furthermore, it was unanimously agreed to provision the aforementioned yacht as soon as possible and to furnish it with its necessities, and to send an advisory note to our Lordships immediately, outlining the condition of this command, without risking any further papers or reports.
It was also agreed upon for the Honorable Commandant's benefit. It has been approved and decided to grant the request of Gerrit Lolling, skipper of the said yacht, and to grant him three more of these sailors to serve on his untrusted yacht on the voyage to the homeland.
And finally, it has also been agreed to detain the return ship, the Berg China, anchored here at the port until the arrival of more return or homeward-bound ships, or until further notice, whether from the homeland or from India, and not to lightly risk this land.
Thus arrested and confined in the Castle of Good Hope on the date and year as above.

Ter vergadering overwogen zijnde ‘t gunt de Hooge Regering van India bij naschrivt in haar Ed. Grt.Achtb. missive van den 10 December lestleden2 gelievd heeft te bevelen, om ‘t hier ter rhede geankerde inlands jagtje de Schaapharder , voorgisteren van Batavia met de geseide missive hier angeland, door gecommitteerde scheepsverstandige exactelijk te doen visiteren en te vernemen hoe ‘t sig geduurende de reise gehouden heeft; So is eenpariger stemme verstaan in gevolge der voors. ordres so haast weder en wind sulx sullen toelaaten, hat [sic] jagtje de Schaap harder opgemeld, door bekwame luijden ten fine voors. gecommitteerd, naukeurig van boven tot beneden, van binnen en buijten en an alle kanten te doen besigtigen, en de daar op varende so officieren als matrosen af te doen vragen hoedanig het gemde. bodemtje sig geduurende de reijse heeft gehouden, en of-se an ‘t selve enige mistimmering of ander gebrek bevonden hebben: ten einde om haar Ed. Groot Achtb. ter eerster gelegendheid van behoorlijk verslag te dienen.3
Verders is eenstemmig verstaan het voorn. jagtje op ‘t spoedigste te provianderen en van sijn behoevtigheden te versien, en met ‘t selve een advijs brievje an ons Heeren Meesters houdende advertentie van den toestand deses commandements sonder meer papieren of berigten te wagen, anstonds af te vairdigen.
Ook is ten dienste van d’ E.Comp. goedgevonden en besloten, het versoek van Gerrit Lolling, schipper op ‘t geseide jagtje, te bewilligen, en hem nog drie deser matrosen om op sijn anvertrouwde jagtje op de reis naar ‘t vaderland dienst te doen, te vergunnen.
En eindelijk is mede verstaan ‘t hier ter rhede geankerde retourschip, de Berg China , tot d’ ankomst van meerder retour of t’ huijs-varende schepen of tot nader ordre ‘t zij uijt ‘t vaderland of uijt India hier an te houden en dien bodem niet ligtvaardiglijk te wagen.
Aldus geärresteerd en besloten in ‘t Casteel de Goede Hoop ten dage en jaare als boven.
