Since the former fiscal of this residence, Tobias Vlasvath, has departed for the homeland with the most recently repatriated fleet, and this office has remained vacant until now, and it is necessary, for the sake of justice and further irregularities, to be filled and acted upon by a competent person. It has therefore been deemed good and understood that this office will be provisionally filled by the deputy merchant Andries de Man, or at least Secretary and Treasurer, until such time as the Noble Lords Majors shall have further disposition for this vacant office.

De wijle den gewesene fiscaal deser residentie Tobias Vlasvath met de jongst gerepatrieerde retourvlooth na ‘t vaderlant is vertrocken, en die bedieningh tot dato vacant is gebleeven en weder nootsaekelijck tot voorstandt van de Justitie en verdre ongeregeltheeden door een bequaem persoon dient te werden bekleet en waergenomen, Soo is goet gevonden en verstaen die bedieningh provisioneel te laeten becleeden door den ondercoopman Andries de Man, althans Secrts. en cassier, totter tijt en wijlen dat bij d’ Edle. Heeren Maijores op die vacante bedieningh nader sal weesen gedisponeert.
