English translation

Present omnibus and reinforced by Admiral Gijsbert d'David Strantwijck, Vice Admiral Van Bartelse, and Rear Admiral Lourens Suijcker, as well as all the skippers of the return ships present here.

Noting that the return ships arrived here on the 22nd of this month (without encountering any significant disasters during the voyage), and that since their arrival, both due to the daily refreshments they received and the necessary provisions, they have already improved considerably, so much so that, based on the calculations made, it was estimated that they would be able to depart shortly. Therefore, the Hon. Governor as Commander (to expedite the aforementioned fleet's departure as much as possible and not to let it be delayed in any way), and after consulting all the skippers, it was decided and determined that the E. Company should depart for the dear homeland by next Monday, the 15th of this month (if at all possible), and to expressly recommend to each of the skippers that anyone who absolutely needs anything should hand it over to the crew chief now, but not later, in order to make up for its shortfall (if our limited resources permit).

Thus resolved and passed at the Fort of Good Hope on the day and year mentioned above.
