English translation

Thus the merchant Breugel was summoned to Rade and asked what papers he had secretly burned and where they had come from, and he wholeheartedly admitted that they had been several old almanacs in which his daily events, particularly those between him and his wife, were recorded, and which he had extracted from his account during the inventory of his securities by the commissioners, and this matter having been considered by the Council, was of very suspicious conduct and a sufficient indication of bad faith, as if under the name and appearance of the foregoing. Almanacs will undoubtedly have also been buried in the ashes, all such papers as he did not want to come to light, in order to better obscure his appearance. This is primarily in the interest of the E. Company, for our peace of mind, and to deprive him of any further opportunities of such acts. Furthermore, we arrest him from his aforementioned residence, where, since our last resolution of 11th, he has had no daytime access to housing, to depart for the new fort in other suitable accommodation, to remain there from now on, without being allowed to go outside, except with orders.

Thus arrested in the Fort of Good Hope on the aforementioned date and year.
