By the provisional assistant Jan Valckenrijk of Amsterdam, recently in true conjugation with the widow of the late citizen Jan Israelsz50, having been informed in Raede, how his wife’s previous bedmate, at the appointment of the Honourable Commissioner van den Brouk, among other things, had been granted the right to exercise brandy and aracqstap, and in return the citizen Hendrick v. Zuerwaerden with the benefit of also tapping French and other wines, of which privilege the aforesaid van Zuerwaerden at the time of the Honourable Commissioner Goske had also renounced, and such permit being at least vacant, the aforementioned Valkenrijk, in addition, very submissively requested, because it would better suit his mood, that instead of the brandy tap, the aforementioned Zuerwaards privilege might be granted to him, provided that he submitted to pay annually from it all the impost that was set for it: So it is that the Commander and Councillor considered this request and considered what was relevant on the matter, also not having noticed any contraventions in this, were moved, said Jan Valckenrijk, with the guise of including Rhine, French and Spanish wine tap, as was allowed to citizen Hendrik v. Zuerwaarden, to benefit from, in order to be able to exercise the same in such a manner, provided that he also paid the impost of ƒ100 years standing for this purpose.
