And it is noted that the tax inspector, Sr. Granaat, on April 12th of last year (at which time he resigned from his dispensation) paid to the aforementioned Sr. de Raaff, in accordance with their mutual transport, the leggers arrack being ordinary, had calculated 488 m.4 for the aforementioned arrack in 1669 by Her Honor. from Batavia sent thither for this residence, measured to him as a mixture and also booked accordingly, so that he could have sufficed with Garnet, or otherwise pretended to be leaky and insufficient, against which again taken into consideration that Her Honor. Our Lords. The principals, in their most recently issued order, have decreed that all administrators, for a register deemed to be ordinary, need not write in or out more than 360 cans or 450 munich, provided that no leakage or underpayment would then occur. Principaelen bij haer jongst uijtgegevene ordres hebben g’arresteert, dat alle administrateurs voor een legger ordinarij wan zijnde, niet meer behoeven als 360 cannen off 450 mengelen in en aff te schrijven, mits haer als dan geen leckagie ofte ordinarie ondermaet zoude competeren, So is mede verstaen dat als nu ‘t meerder bedraegen van voors. 450 m. op d’ legger, in plaats dat anders door meergemelden Sr. de Raaff naemaels weder leckagie ende ondermaet soude gevordert ende consequentelijck werden g’approbeert, als vooren op reecqe. van winst ende verlies zall affgeschreven werden.
Gevolghlijck is oock aen meergemelden Sr. de Cretser op zijn gedaene voorstel g’accordeert, dat hij op de verstreckinge van den tabacq, dewelcke succesivelijck met cleijne parthijen geschieden ende boven dien extraordinarie in drooghte onderworpen is, jaerlijx 5 per cento voor ondermaet gerekent, sal te gauderen hebben, dogh alles, als gesegt, tot naerder ordre ende verwacht werdende Hr. Commissaris, omme bij gevolgh tot een reglement te dienen.
Aldus gedaan en g’arresteert in de Fortresse de Goede Hope ten dage en jare voors.
