And considering that the person of Theunis Dircksz van Schalckwijck has been expressly forbidden by the above-mentioned resolution, in accordance with the same, to take up even the slightest plancksage in the preferred forests granted to him, and the same has been seriously applied for in a meeting on that date for the benefit of this resident, Therefore, His Honor, Mr. Matheus van den Broeck, Councilordinary of Netherlands India, Admiral of the return ships of this year and Commissioner of this residence, as well as his Honors, the aforementioned respective Councilors, Theunis Dircksz's request (as done outside the prejudgment of the E. Compe.) are consenting, provided that they further adhere to the contents of the gen. resolution to regulate the felling of the wood, as stated above.

En aengesien den persoon van Theunis Dircksz van Schalckwijck bij bovenstaende7 resolutie, conform deselve, expresselijck is verboden geweest geenige de minste plancksagerije in de gepreveligeerde aan hem verleende bossen ter handen te nemen, ende denselven op dato in vergaderinge om die bennifitie, tot gerijff deser ingesetene gants ernstelijck is sollisiterende, Soo is ‘t dat sijn Edle. den Heere Matheus van den Broeck, Raet Ordinarie van Nederlants India, Admirael over de deses jaerse retourscheepen en Commissaris deser residentie mitsgaeders sijn Edls. bijhebbende respective Raeden voorn., Theunis Dircksz versoeck (als buijten praejuditie van d. E. Compe. geschiedende) sijn consenterende, mits sich in ‘t verdere naer den inhoude der gen. resolutie in ‘t cappen van ‘t hout sal hebben te reguleren, actum ut supra.
