In accordance with the resolution adopted yesterday, today111 strengthened by the Council as before, further review of the documents and information confessed to the conspiracy &a. expressed in the same and previous resolutions, and noting that the persons Coulijn Louson, Jan Bruijn van Leswede, and Jan Becx van Dondeij are still out of appreciation, according to their given testimony, as well as Alexander Craffort, being in appreciation in accordance with his confession and declaration before the aforementioned Council, all together only made after the discovery of the supposed conspiracy &a. of which they have had knowledge for a long time, namely that the conspirators had intended to deport them as disloyal deserters to Angola among our enemies without having made this known, and from which further hatched and resulted a plan of such unprecedented conspiracy, murder and incendiary measures, etc., which was to have begun on Sunday evening, as the Commander and Council heard the same afternoon from the Chief Curist, Mr. Robberson was discovered, the aforementioned persons were involved in so much that, provided their silence, whether wilful or always through omission, is of no small consequence, as having such rogue acts, like deserting to the enemy, their officers should first reveal it, as this, although of quite dangerous consequences (as has become apparent), cannot well be overlooked without correction. However, the shyness of the aforementioned persons who attributed their excuse that they had been able to stand up and attempt such a thing, is again considered with compassion. So it is not noticed in the least and it confuses her. Because of the conspiracy, you have revealed or confessed that this has been approved by the Council without any form of trial: but to dismiss this current resolution and, as a result, to condemn the civil society for all 4 of them to be punished with the butt of the musquet, as well as confiscation of 3 months gagie for Coulijn Louson, Jan Bruijn and Alexander Craffort, and Jan Becx 2 months to apply after uso with the costs of the closing money for the great &a.

And regarding Willem Mores, Hendrick Wrigt, and Steven Nobel, who have been under investigation since the discovery of the aforementioned conspiracy, from suspicion to the present day, and who cannot at all be found to agree with the truth that they knew neither the one nor the other, nor were ever approached about it, it is understood that they should be completely exaggerated and let go freely, also in accordance with the resolution taken yesterday (because they are English) with the above-mentioned civil witnesses to let them sail to Batavia on the ship Gecroonde Leeuw, moored here, as well as it has also been approved to do with the nearest ships that have been and will be found of the aforementioned conspirators. to be urged to flee or otherwise, in order to carefully investigate and examine this place from all such, and also not to burden the nearby ship, the Gecroonde Leeuw, too much with it and to expose it to damage, etc.

Before the departure of this meeting, Gijsbert Arisz van Bommel, young man and free mason from here, aged 25 years, who had entered into a marriage vow with Anna Rodolphus van Grietsiel in Emderland, a young daughter aged 24 years, was presented on the ship Gecroonde Leeuw, which was moored here, and according to that both requested to be legally confirmed with the other in the Holy City: and for that purpose to grant that their first commandment could be confirmed on Sunday following the sermon, the aforementioned Council (having not been able to learn otherwise than that both are free and liberal persons, which, according to (Having considered her own declaration and presentation of Eede, if anything had been said in that regard,) these people saw fit to consent to their request, as well as to have their first appointment made on that fine Sunday, and subsequently all Sundays until the third inclusive, in order to then, after the final proclamation by the Secretary of the Council (as we have no minister here), allow the solemnization to be legally conducted before all the people (in open council chamber), and to proceed with the faithfulness publicly.

Thus done, resolved, and arrested in the Fort of Good Hope for the day and year as before.
