Are Adoption Papers Available Online?

Some very early adoption papers may be available at the National Archives and researchers can obtain these documents directly from the various offices. Researchers can make use of the National Archives website to see what is available.

More recent adoption papers are only available from the Registrar of Adoptions in Pretoria and not accessible online. There are, however, a process that needs to be followed in order to apply for access to these documents.
